Help! How do I change a player's ladder position?!

I ran into a problem the other day when I tried to cancel a challenge for a one of the player's on my ladder. I thought I had this ability as an admin (I just started the ladder recently) so I told the player I would do this. What ended up happening was I put him on break, then was unable to put him back in and had to delete him and then add him again. I thought I would then be able to place him in the appropriate position, but he is stuck at the bottom (should be in spot 14! not 24!) Also, one position above him is "Deleted Player 24" which I don't need either!
If anyone can help me solve this issue, it would be GREATLY appreciated!

This is hopefully more of an informative answer, based on my experience...
When you add the player back into the ladder, they will by default be placed at the bottom ranking position. You then need to sequentially swap positions with other players to allow them to move to the correct one. Unfortunately you cannot just type in the rank number as all other players' positions will not adjust. This means you really need to start at the bottom and then swap with the next player above.
To clarify, an example of where you have 10 players (including the one returning to play):
When re-entering a player from resting status, they will be recorded at position 10. You will need to type in the box next to the player's name number 9. In the (pos.) box next to the person above them, type 10. Then the 2 positions swap. Do this continuously until their rank advances to the position they belong to.
Please also bear in mind that if you have gone into "ladder settings" and changed the inactivity settings away from the default (so that they are enabled), changing the ranks as above will probably generate an email to the player advising them that they have been penalised due to inactivity.

Ladder positions can be changed by typing the appropriate number (ladder position) next to the player once logged in as an administrator and going to "Manage players" in your options.
