http://sports-ladder.net no longer seems to be sending email messages.

Our ladder stopped sending email messages about a week ago. Are other experiancing the same thing? Is there some way that I can figure out why the email messages are no longer being sent. I also tried to send a message from the ladder as the administrator. The site said that it was sent successfully, but it never made it to the ladder participants.

Similar issues.
As a Ladder admin, I've noticed I don't get emails for all events every time. For example, I don't always get emails for when results are entered for a match. Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't.
However, it appears that individuals always receive their Challenge emails.

blocked emails
I have had a few reports of people not getting emails over the last week although I have been receiving them on my own ladder. It is almost certainly that emails are being blocked as spam. I did have a flurry of spams sent through the contact page recently and this may have been enough to flag the server on some spam blacklists.
Hopefully the problem will resolve over the next week otherwise you might need to do some investigating with your ISP or whoever runs your email server to ask if they are being blocked.
I know from the past that sometimes the odd email doesn't get delivered but this seems to be more widespread.
Please let me know of any progress.
Thanks
Matt
We started getting mail again magically
This afternoon I started getting mail again from the ladder. I had tried before to sent mail to all ladder members and no one got them. Today I tried after having received a challenge mail(the first for several challenges). This time I received the mail and others on the ladder did as well.
I doubt that this is a spam blocking issue, multiple providers are being used and every stopped getting the mail at about the same time.
Hopefully the mail will continue to come through.

Rather belatedly I have
Rather belatedly I have discovered the cause of the failed emails back in December. My mail account exceeded the maximum number of permitted emails per hour through a few days and so the mail server refused to send any emails. I do have an email throttle program but this seems not to have worked so I will need to investigate what happened. I hope this issue won't return although there will still undoubtedly be the odd email that goes astray.
