Since moving out to the countryside I have been keen to get some ducks or chickens. It seems ducks can be a bit smelly and so I decided chickens would be the way to go. There is also a bit of a tradition in my grandmother's side of the family keeping chickens and bantams. By good fortune I was offered some of the chicks from the flock of bantams that wander around on the front lawn of the big house.

I have been struggling to spend any time developing the ladder recently due to some changes in my circumstances. I am therefore putting support for the ladder on hold for the time being. This does not mean that I am shelving the ladder, merely that I will return to the ladder when I have more time to spare.

I will continue to set up new ladders for people and to collect bugs and enhancement requests. It is still my intention to make the next release of the ladder late in 2005. Update: production is now resumed!
